SLG at IE Expo China 2026 | Advancing CCUS for a Low-Carbon Future

On April 13, the CCUS Special Committee of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, in partnership with Messe Muenchen Zhongmao Co., Ltd., hosted the 2026 Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) Development Forum at the 27th Shanghai International Environmental Expo (IE Expo China).

Centered on the theme “CCUS Technology: Capturing a Low-Carbon Future,” the forum brought together leaders from government, industry, academia, and international organizations to exchange insights and explore practical pathways for carbon reduction.

CCUS is emerging as a key lever for deep decarbonization—capturing CO₂ emissions from industrial sources and enabling either long-term storage or productive reuse.

During the forum, Wang Changcheng, Deputy Director of SLG Low-Carbon Design Institute, presented
“Enhancing CCUS Performance through Integrated Green Solutions.”

SLG is steadily strengthening its capabilities across the CCUS value chain, with a focus on integrated, system-level solutions that improve efficiency and support scalable deployment.
